Updates and Seizure Disorder

Hi guys,

I know it's been a long while since I've updated. Life got in the way in the form of the development of an unexpected seizure disorder that struck me in April of this past year. It has been a scary, trying time in my life and I've been doing everything I can to get better, but the seizures are still coming and going, although recently the severity and frequency has gone down some. I used to have clusters of three every thirty minutes (at the farthest stretch, if I was lucky), and now I can go a few days without one. Stress is a definite trigger, and after neurologist visits, psychiatrists, multiple tests from MRIs to EEGs, it's been determined that the seizures developed due to PTSD.

The seizures have made it so that I can't work, and disability hasn't gone through for me yet. It's been hard and I've had to lean on a lot of people just to make it by. I can't drive and so it's been frustrating beyond belief.

But here's hoping that things get a little better in the future! Any progress is good progress.
